Actually, I'm here for a reason. Ish. Sorta. And since I don't have one of those fancy paid accounts which would secure my spot at the Cool Kids table like daddy's Ferrari or a pair of DDs, you will have to put up with a ghetto poll.

If I start to consider joining/rejoining anywhere, which would you be most interested in seeing?

I'm just saying that if I were to start contemplating, toying with an idea here or there, seeing what people respond with would be food for thought.

I need to stop saying 'I'll totally get this done today, I promise', as that seems to be some sort of cosmic cue for my friend to show up at my door ten minutes later, claiming he needs my help. That has been happening quite a bit lately, as we're in the process of redoing the entire second floor of his house from start to finish. That is a large contributor to my sporadic activity lulls as of late, and the reason I totally didn't get to HDC today. What started as 'just an hour or two, maybe three' at 2pm has me still here at 11pm. With my luck I'll probably get back home at one or two in the morning, hit the shower and just pass out.

I'm not going to promise I'll get HDC done tomorrow, because I've learned my lesson. Fuck you, cosmic cue! However, it shall be quite the priority.

Kate, Cary, do we want to call The End / The Beginning done? Maybe after Cary's reply? I really liked the scene. It feels like it's at a good place. And see, Kate? Alcohol! I fulfilled my promise! Sort of!

What about Side Trip? Shade, Lauren, Jan, what's the general consensus on that? I'm enjoying it and can go for however long, but with the rate it's taking us to go a round I'm just trying to gauge others' interest.

Aaaand with those two either done or at least nearing completion, I'm going to need something for Helios to do in the near future. Preferably DDC.

As far as HDC goes, Tereesa, we can finally get that thread underway. Again, I apologize for putting it off for so long. It wasn't due to any level of disinterest, things just kept coming up before it for one reason or another. I need to nab a good child pb and we need to brainstorm, but those things shouldn't take long.

And while on the topic of HDC, I'd also like to line a few up for Moros for the not too distant future. Preferably with family, to explore their relationships.

I got invited to a keg party last minute on Saturday, so that's why a reply or two and my new posts didn't get up over the weekend. The alcohol didn't run out until 7am Sunday, so the party didn't end until 7am Sunday. And ohmygod I ache all over. No hangover though; god, I love my genes.

I am sick. I started feeling like shit yesterday, and today I might have been out of bed for all of an hour, collectively. So. We'll see what happens.

1:18AM - I am back.

I am back. I will not be around Wednesday/Thursday of this week, as I'll be back at my friend's place to help again. I'll try to get caught up on everything I owe within the next 24 hours. New threads are at the end of the list.

I am also back on my own computer now. Hopefully I'll be able to get to this before long. I haven't been able to yet due to the time constraints I had.

Also, has anyone ever used a kneeling chair for an extended period of time? I tried one not too long ago and loved it, but I was only on it for a minute or so. I'm curious if it remains comfortable the entire time, or if it makes your legs start to ache or not. I'm interested in getting one for my computer desk but most that I see seem overpriced, in the $100-200 range.

EDIT: One of the several things I did to my computer to make it not sick anymore was a complete format. Until I get around to finding something better this will be my wallpaper. I understand this could be a very long search.

In other news, my friend rented a giant dumpster and hit me up last minute to help him do a bunch of work on his house. I spent a bit today doing that. Tomorrow and Sunday will be the same, only longer. I only owe a few replies. I'll try and get those taken care of tonight, and after that I probably won't be back until Monday.

I fixed what was wrong with my computer. Apparently, I did not fix everything that was wrong with my computer. What was replaced I am certain was fuxxored, so there was no wasted money. Just wasted time, and a long goddamn sigh. I should have the rest taken care of in a few days though. Until then my time and concentration is still limited, so replies will be as they have been. They'll happen when they happen.
